Parking and Getting to the Open

Parking Info

Complimentary parking is available at four lots for you to choose from.

The parking lots are located at:

  • Sheridan College (Monday-Sunday)
    1430 Trafalgar Rd, Oakville, ON
  • Saint Volodymyr Cultural Centre (Monday-Sunday)
    1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville, ON
  • Bronte GO Station (Friday-Sunday)
    2104 Wyecroft Road, Oakville, ON
  • Oakville GO Station (Friday-Sunday)
    214 Cross Ave, Oakville, ON

Complimentary shuttles will continually run from these parking lots to the main entrance at Glen Abbey Golf Club, from 6:30 am until 1 hour after play has finished.

Wheelchair accessible shuttles will be running from Sheridan College to Glen Abbey Golf Club, July 23 to July 29 from 6:30 am to 1 hour after play concludes.  When you arrive at Sheridan College, please check with the parking attendant, who will direct you to your designated parking area.


When you arrive at Glen Abbey Golf Club, you will be dropped off by the attendant’s stand for Lot B (at the northwest corner of Golf House) and from there you will be transported to one of the two viewing areas.

For those needing assistance who arrive at the main admissions point on Dorval Drive, a shuttle will take you to one of the two designated viewing areas noted above.

When you wish to depart, you may call 1-844-686-6736 extension 252 to arrange for pick up or, if you return to where you were dropped off, the shuttle will pick you up for return to Sheridan College.  Should you not have a phone, you can ask Garda Security personnel to make contact for you.  Please allow 30 minutes for pick up to occur and note that you will only be picked up at one of the viewing areas listed above.

Spectators utilizing a car sharing service or taxi may use the drop off and pick up location on Old Abbey Lane, just south of Dorval Drive.  Please ensure to direct your car to this area when arranging a pick up from Glen Abbey Golf Club.

A complimentary bike valet service will be provided at the corner of Dorval Drive and Old Abbey Lane (across from the main entrance).

Preferred BMW Parking

Spectators driving a BMW should proceed to the Sheridan College located on Trafalgar Road near Upper Middle Road for preferred parking.


From Friday – Sunday, all spectators who travel to Oakville receive a complimentary shuttle at both Oakville and Bronte GO Stations.

From Monday – Thursday, train goers can utilize a car sharing or Taxi service to arrive at Glen Abbey Golf Club.


Spectators and volunteers at the RBC Canadian Open will be wanded by tournament security and subject to search prior to entering the Tournament. All carry-on bags, purses, fanny packs, etc. will be subject to inspection. Any spectator bringing a restricted item onto the grounds will have two options; a) return the item to their vehicle or check the items into the on-site Check Stand located at admissions.

At the tournaments discretion, food may enter the Tournament in a clear plastic bag not to exceed the size of a one (1) gallon clear resealable plastic bag
Mobile phones, tablets, and PDA’s – MUST be on Silent mode and adhere to TOUR’s Mobile Device Policy
Still camera with lens smaller than 6 inches; no case (During Practice Rounds Only)
Umbrellas without sleeve
Portable radios with headsets
Medically necessary supplies, Strollers, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles, and other necessary baby supplies (infant must be with carrier) – items subject to search
