Canada Day Pro-Am

MONDAY, JUNE 4, 2019 | 12:00 PM – Shotgun

Teams of three amateurs will be joined by one of Canada’s top golfers or Hall of Fame players. This year’s event is a celebration of Canadian golf and will feature the best Canadians in the game, as well as up-and-coming stars. Proceeds from the Pro-Am benefit the Golf Canada Foundation going to support the developmental pathway in Canada including Team Canada and the Young Pro Program. The Foundation’s mission is to provide golfers and industry partners with a charitable platform to increase participation in golf by engaging players of all ages and abilities across Canada.

RBC Hall of Fame Day (FREE Admission all day)


Join us at the stage in Spectator Village from 11:00am – 11:30am for our Hall of Fame Day celebration.

This year, legends Gail Graham and the late A.V. Macan will be welcomed into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame. Many golf greats from all generations will be on hand for autographs and to interact with fans.

Admissions for all spectators on Tuesday is FREE!

The Rink


The par-3 7th hole has been transformed into a rink-styled fan experience, complete with hockey boards, a ZAMBONI ® ice resurfacing machine, as well as the addition of new rink-side bleachers and viewing decks. Volunteer marshals on the hole will be outfitted in referee uniforms, while rink boards will outline the hole, replacing traditional roping.

We invite you to wear your brightest reds and your whitest whites to celebrate Canada and show your support for the Canadian players competing in our National Open.

Canadian flags will be handed out at the main entrance while supplies last.

Canadian Armed Forces Day presented by Commissionaires


All current and former members of Canada’s Armed Forces who pre-register will be entitled to a “military pass” that will provide complimentary access to the tournament grounds and upgraded venues for themselves and their immediate family.

At the RBC Canadian Open, your Someday experiences start here. This year, we are elevating the tournament experience for everyone with enhanced spectator amenities throughout the course!

Someday Seats

Enjoy the best seats in the house at 10 locations along the rope lines in the Someday Seats! Exclusive front-row Muskoka chair seating will place you right in the action and give you the chance to see your favourite PGA TOUR stars up close. Fans will be surprised with cold drinks and snacks throughout the day to stay cool while they watch play from the best vantage points on course.

Someday Lounge

Love golf, hockey and in-seat service? Head to the Someday Lounge on the 7th hole and take in the amazing greenside atmosphere at #TheRink. An experience unlike any other, the lounge is situated on the exciting par-3 – now known as The Rink! Transformed into a hockey arena with real boards lining the hole, this the place to be at the tournament. The best part is, the Someday Lounge is open to the public and includes in-seat service so you won’t miss any of the action while your food and drinks are delivered right to your seat! The Someday Lounge will also host special appearances by Team RBC Olympians, NHL players, alumni and more! We’ll also be handing out rally towels to add to the atmosphere and give fans the opportunity to show their love for two of Canada’s favourite pastimes.

Someday Viewing Deck

Join us on the Someday Viewing Deck at the 6th hole to kick back and enjoy the action. The space features stools and bar tables with umbrellas along with folding chairs and table tops to give spectators prime sightlines coming in to the 6th green. It also overlooks the practice area and has dedicated in-seat servers to deliver your food and beverage orders.

Team RBC Virtual Reality at the RBC Community Truck

Go behind-the-scenes with the Team RBC Virtual Reality Experience inside the RBC Community Truck located in Spectator Village. The innovative and advanced VR technology allows users to become fully engaged and discover the life of a professional golf first hand! This Team RBC experience gives you an exclusive look at the RBC Heritage with 2015 champion Jim Furyk, in addition to Canadian stars Graham DeLaet and Brooke Henderson explaining what it’s like to represent their country on the world stage.

RBC Avion Sky Lounge

Enjoy cool, comfortable seating and one of the best views of the course, with exclusive access to an air-conditioned lounge and tiered outdoor seating at the exciting par-5 16th hole. Throughout the week in the RBC Avion Sky Lounge, there will be many surprises – including a chance to meet the 2018 RBC Canadian Open Champion after the final round on Sunday! A complimentary snack and beverage rounds out the Avioner experience at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario.

RBC Someday Patio

For the first time ever, RBC is providing free admission to a NEW venue on the 18th hole. You’ll be on the edge of your seat situated on the tournament’s closing hole, so get there early as seating is limited. In-seat food and drink service, and sightlines to where so many winning shots have been made over the years make this a must see destination on course. Come check us out, golf fans!

BMW Vehicle Displays

Check out and explore the latest BMW models that will be displayed throughout Glen Abbey Golf Club. Vehicles will include an impressive selection of BMW M models such as the all-new BMW M5, M4 Cabriolet and the race track ready M2 Competition. BMW Championship Contest

BMW Shuttle Service

Enjoy a complimentary ride to the RBC Canadian Open in comfort and style with the BMW Shuttle Service.  A fleet of BMW X5’s will be available from July 26th to July 29th, transporting general spectators and BMW customers to and from Sheridan College Public Lot and the main entrance of Glen Abbey Golf Club. Shuttles are first come, first serve and will begin 30 minutes before play and will conclude 30 minutes after play.

Spectators driving a BMW should proceed to the Sheridan College Lot to access complimentary, front-of-the-line parking for BMW vehicles, courtesy of BMW Canada.

Throughout tournament days, Golf Canada and BMW Canada will be offering exclusive access to the ‘BMW Owner’s & Golf Canada Member’s Lounge’ overlooking the 9th Green. This elevated experience will be offered to BMW owners and members of Golf Canada, providing them with a premium golf viewing area with lounge seating, food and beverage for purchase, and overhead tent coverage.
